I’ve spent the past 12+ years building web applications from the ground up. In that time, I’ve seen frontend evolve from simple jQuery scripts into sophisticated, distributed systems powered by React, Next.js, and TypeScript.
As a Tech Lead and Engineering Manager for the last 2+ years, I believe the best engineering leaders stay close to the code. You can’t make smart architectural tradeoffs or estimate delivery timelines accurately if you don’t understand the daily friction your developers face.
